Yesterday I visited the opening of international animated film festival Krok.
There was not so many interesting as I expected. everything was calm,restrained and at times even boaring. I liked 5 things about it: short speech of my teacher Evgeny Sivokon (who is one of the best ukranian animators) and the film he presented,the presence of Igor Kovalyov (director of Milch),small ships made of vegetables on the stage ( I haven't taken a picture of them cos they were disassembled before I finally get closer) and the new film about Wallace & Gromit. Everything else could be described as very OLDSCHOOL.
